Hotel Vandivort is located in downtown Springfield, less than a five minute walk from the Landers Theatre and the History Museum on the Square.
It’s a beautiful, upscale hotel with surprisingly reasonable pricing, and modern, luxury rooms.
The hotel is comprised of two connected areas: a historic building that served as a Masonic Center for over 75 years, and a new addition “V2”, that has expanded upon and modernized the structure.
In the hotel, you can see mysterious memorabilia from the original masons, and learn about the history of the lodge and the surrounding area.
There are two onsite restaurants: The Order and Vantage. The Order serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, featuring freaks and local modern American fare.
Their boozy brunch is a favorite among travelers and locals alike, and they also serve a range of signature cocktails, as well as beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages from the mid-morning.
Vantage is a stunning rooftop bar, featuring delicate small plates such as oysters, flatbreads, and charcuterie boards as well as cocktails and other drinks.

What it lacks in frills it makes up for in affordable rooms, and excellent amenities including both an indoor and outdoor pool, a fitness center, two dining options (including room service), and thoughtful touches including the availability of conjoining rooms, digital keycards, and full accessibility.
The hotel is slightly outside Springfield's city center, but it is still only a short drive from the historic downtown. It is also close to other attractions, including the Bass Pro Shop, the Dickerson Zoo, and BigShots Golf.
It’s also only ten miles away from Fantastic Caverns, Springfield’s expansive and breathtaking cavern, which is explorable by Jeep-drawn tram.
